Visitors can also enjoy camping in the Wedi Ombo Beach area. In addition, there are designated spots for fishing. According to IDN Times, the entrance fee is Rp5,000, with parking fees around Rp3,000 for motorcycles and Rp5,000 for cars.

From the entrance gate, visitors need to walk for about 15–20 minutes to reach the beach. Access to some beaches in Gunungkidul cannot be reached directly by vehicles. However, after the short trek, the beauty of Wedi Ombo can be fully enjoyed, especially during sunset along the southern horizon.
