From the entrance gate, visitors need to walk for about 15–20 minutes to reach the beach. Access to some beaches in Gunungkidul cannot be reached directly by vehicles. However, after the short trek, the beauty of Wedi Ombo can be fully enjoyed, especially during sunset along the southern horizon.
