Kelanawisata.id, Magelang - The Borobudur Performance was organized by the Deputy for Event Organizer Development on Friday evening (October 31). Quoted from the official website of the Ministry of Tourism, the Deputy for Event Organizer Development, Vinsensius Jemadu, explained that the Borobudur Performance: Ngangeni is a continuous effort carried out by the Ministry of Tourism to strengthen the tourism ecosystem.
This strengthening of the tourism ecosystem is carried out through the development of cultural attractions in priority destinations. The event was held at the Museum Amphitheater and Borobudur Arts Village.
The event began at 4:30 PM with traditional performances. The Jaranan Bregodo Gentayu dance, Rampak Buto Gedruk, and Jaranan Kreasi Putri from the Gaboet Wasesa Art Studio were among the cultural attractions presented in the afternoon.
The performances continued after sunset. The Manusuk Sima dance drama from the Borobudur Art Village Museum Studio kicked off the evening’s first performance. The program continued with games and a chat session hosted by MCs Putri Manjo and Gundhi.
After the Isya break, the Lelana Buto Ayu dance from the Erlangga Koperasi Medang Kamulan Studio presented its artistic work. The evening’s activities began with a traditional dance by the Sekar Rimba Community, featuring the Topeng Ireng Kreasi.
The event continued with an opening act by Ngatmombilung, followed by the main performance by Aftershine. The audience was captivated by the artistic performances. The stage was illuminated by the sparkling lights of the bright night sky.
The Borobudur Stage event was held with the aim of increasing appeal, encouraging tourist traffic, preserving local culture and wisdom, and supporting local MSMEs and the creative economy. This is an effort to strengthen the image of Borobudur as a tourism icon by collaborating with local artists and communities.
